»Hibbeliger Post-Hardcore, rhythmisch komplexer Neo-Progressive Rock und entfesselter Indie Rock ringen auf der gerade erschienenen Debüt-EP Diverge um die Vorherrschaft im Sound.«
Wrestling Vertigo wurden 2012 in Köln mit Martin Maurer als Gründungsmitglied (git) gegründet, damals aber noch unter anderem Bandname. Durch Besetzungswechsel wurde die Band um Dong Lee (bass) und Nik Novakovic (voc.) ergänzt und es entstanden dann »Wrestling Vertigo«. Ende 2015 aufgenommen erschien Anfang 2016 der erste Output »Diverge« als EP in Eigenregie.
Im Jahr 2017 wurde der Drummerposten mit Alexander Owusu-Mensah neu besetzt. Die Band nimmt den neuen Schwung nun mit und produzierte die zweite EP «Limits Of Your Lies«. Ende 2018 endlich veröffentlicht, wird die Band voll durchstarten um ihre Songs unter das Volk zu bringen.
2020 ersetzte Tobi Alex an den Drums, Nic verließ ebenso die Band um sich mehr seinem Solo-Projekt zu widmen.
Die Band sucht nach einer geeigneten Nachfolge an dem Mikro, währenddessen wird weiter fleißig Musik geschrieben.

Die Jungs haben sich Gedanken gemacht als sie in den Proberaum gegangen sind und die Popformel und ein einfaches Arrangement wird man nicht finden. Trotzdem, oder gerade weil die Band es geschafft hat nie zu kompliziert zu werden, kann man viel damit anfangen.«

Wrestling Vertigo were founded in 2012 in Cologne with Martin Maurer as a founding member (git), but at that time under a different band name. Due to line-up changes, Dong Lee on the bass and Nik Novakovic on the vocals joined the band and »Wrestling Vertigo« was born.
Recorded in the end of 2015, the first output »Diverge« was released in early 2016.
In 2017 Alexander Owusu-Mensah joined the band on drums. The band is taking the new momentum and produced the second EP »Limits Of Your Lies« which was released 2018.
Since 2020 Tobi replaced Alex on drums and also Nic left the band to focus on his solo project. The band is currently looking to fill the position on vocals. In the meantime Wrestling Vertigo continue to write music.
